The Pennridge School District board on Nov. 17 approved an employment contract renewal for Dr. Bradley Palmer to continue as assistant superintendent.
Superintendent Doctor Berrios asked the board to approve the renewal, framing Palmer’s work as central to district operations and long-term planning. Berrios highlighted Palmer's leadership of the districtwide enrollment and facility-utilization study, implementation of a safe-arrival system, the administrative regulation for field trips and a negotiated memorandum of understanding supporting a new block schedule at the high school. "One of the most consequential efforts he led was the district wide enrollment and facility utilization study," Berrios said, and recommended the board's approval of Palmer's contract renewal.
A board member moved to approve the employment contract renewal; the motion was seconded and recorded as passing "8 to 0." The meeting minutes show the vote as unanimous among members present.
The board did not record additional conditions, an effective renewal date beyond the motion, or the contract's financial terms during the meeting transcript. The presiding officer congratulated Dr. Palmer after the vote.
