Gallatin council advances multiple ordinances and approves annexations; several items move to council

Council also approved second reading for $143,000 for the Grigney Interchange Improvement Project (ordinance 02510‑63) and passed an update to solid‑waste long driveway billing procedures (ordinance 02510‑64).
A resolution authorizing the Gallatin Police Department to apply for the Keep Tennessee Beautiful law enforcement grant (R2511‑87) was approved to move forward. The council deferred acceptance of public improvements for Carlton Phase 7A to the January 6 meeting. Two annexation items (resolution R2509‑69 adopting a plan of services for a 325.48‑acre portion and resolution R2509‑70 to annex that parcel into the City of Gallatin) were adopted following discussion; the roll calls for the annexation items were reported as 4–1.
