The City of Muskego Parks and Conservation Committee approved a proposed Eagle Scout project by Jameson Cleary to construct and install eight Leopold-style wooden benches at various conservation sites and along city trails, including Moreland Park and Bloom Park.

A committee member described the plan and said staff will coordinate site placement based on prior resident requests. Members expressed support for the volunteer effort; a motion to approve was moved, seconded and passed by voice vote.

Staff said the project is typical of recent annual volunteer efforts and that Tom (conservation staff) will work with the scout to place benches where community members have requested seating.
