EPC adopts minutes and approves 2026 meeting calendar; Dec. 17 meeting canceled

The Mountain View Environmental Planning Commission on Dec. 3 approved minutes for six prior meetings and voted to adopt its 2026 public meeting calendar.
Principal planner Diana Pantoli presented the proposed calendar and noted a typographical error in the staff memorandum: the dates listed are for 2026, but the memo header mistakenly said 2025. "All the dates are correct. The year for this is for 2026," Pantoli said, adding the schedule accounts for the League of California Cities planning commissioners conference in March and adjusts for observed city holidays.
Vice Chair Nunez moved to approve the minutes for 02/19/2025, 03/19/2025, 06/18/2025, 09/17/2025, 10/15/2025 and 11/05/2025; Commissioner Joyce Yin seconded. The clerk announced the motion carried with six yeas and one absent.
Later, after the calendar presentation, a motion to "approve the EPC public meeting calendar for 2026" was made and seconded; the clerk again announced the motion carried with six yeas and one absent.
Pantoli also told commissioners that the Dec. 17, 2025 meeting would be canceled because there were no discussion items on the agenda and that the commission will reconvene Jan. 7, 2026 for its first meeting of the new year.
The clerk recorded no public comments during the oral communications period. The meeting was adjourned at 7:19 p.m.
