Several routine items were approved by the Muskego Common Council during its Dec. 2 special meeting.
What passed: - Consent agenda (minutes, voucher approvals and routine resolutions including updates to public works/development fees and approval of a two‑lot certified survey map). The motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice. - Ordinance 1506 (amending Chapter 350, Article 3 of the municipal code — recycling) passed on second reading by voice vote. - Resolution 080 approved the sale of a vacant parcel of city land to Muskegon House, LLC after the council returned from closed session.
Also on the agenda: Resolution 079 (accepting a proposal for a fire/EMS study) and Resolution 077 (Hillandale Drive funding) were debated and each was approved on the floor following recorded votes; the Hillandale resolution was contentious and passed after a tie was broken by the mayor.
