Staff described Beth Keller’s 31 years with the county after joining in 1994, noting she rose to a supervisor role, mentored caseworkers and received a child advocate award in 2014. The board moved and approved a resolution to honor Keller and offer best wishes for her retirement.
The board also approved a resolution recognizing Vonda Hess for more than 22 years of service. Staff highlighted Hess’s work investigating fraud, identifying overpayments, and issuing penalties while showing compassion in difficult cases; the resolution offered thanks and best wishes for her retirement.
Both resolutions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote during the meeting.
