Commission backs letter supporting 5311 rural transit funding to extend KTEEN route

A commissioner moved and another seconded to approve the letter of support for the Section 5311 grant. The motion passed on a voice vote. The transit representative thanked the commission.
Next steps: staff to send the letter of support and continue coordination with KDOT and local transit operators on the pilot timeline; no additional county funding decisions were made at the meeting.
