Monongalia County Commission approves $1.12M UTC disbursement, removes estate administratrix and signs several reimbursements

The Monongalia County Commission on Dec. 10 approved a $1,123,003.75 requisition for the University Town Center Economic Opportunity Development District subaccount, accepted a petition to remove an administratrix in a stalled probate matter, and authorized several smaller reimbursements and project requisitions.

Administrator Renetta McClure presented the consent agenda and a series of vouchers and exonerations, including payroll and county operating vouchers totaling roughly $2.43 million. A commissioner moved to approve the consent agenda and the motion carried by voice vote.

During public comment, Sabrina Webb asked the commission to remove the administratrix of the estate of Rosalie Ernestine Miller, saying the probate had stalled after her sister filed related matters and that she wanted the family’s affairs completed.
