Brandon Lee Villarreal pleads and is sentenced to 111 days, $800 fine under plea agreement

Brandon Lee Villarreal appeared before the court and entered a plea pursuant to a state offer. The defendant waived the reading of the indictment, acknowledged understanding the court admonishments including the rights he was giving up, and admitted to the stipulated evidence the State presented.

Defense counsel waived a presentence investigation and asked the court to follow the parties' plea agreement. The court accepted the plea and adjudicated the defendant guilty. Pursuant to the plea, the court sentenced Villarreal to 111 days in the Bexar County Jail and imposed an $800 fine; time and fines were ordered to run concurrently and credit for time served was recognized.

The court admonished the defendant regarding collateral consequences of a felony conviction, including loss of weapons rights, and excused the defendant after completion of the required paperwork.
