Laverne moved to enter closed session and Al seconded; the board voted to go into closed session at approximately 12:45 and members agreed to briefly reconvene on a separate secure link for that discussion. The open meeting was closed to the public at that point and the board planned only a brief return to adjourn the open meeting after the closed session.
