Holland City planning commission welcomes new commissioner Kim Rowan

The Holland City Planning Commission introduced a new member, Kim Rowan, at the Dec. 9 meeting.
The meeting facilitator announced Ms. Rowan as the newest commissioner. Speaking to the commission, Ms. Rowan said she was "very delighted to be a part of the commission" and that she had not previously participated on this commission but looked forward to shaping the city and learning from staff and fellow commissioners. "I hope so. Hopefully, you'll be patient as I ask silly questions along the way," she said.
Staff also reminded commissioners about upcoming dates: the commission's January meeting, a February election of officers and a study session next month where staff will bring proposed work‑plan items with the intent of establishing the work plan at the February meeting.
