At the Dec. 11 meeting the Oklahoma City Employee Retirement System Board of Trustees elected Amy Madera to serve as chair for the Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2026 term and elected Joanna McSpadden as vice chair.
A trustee moved to elect Amy Madera as chair; a second was recorded and the motion was approved. After the vote Madera said, “I’ve got big shoes to fill,” acknowledging the leadership role she will assume following Paul Bronson’s retirement.
The board then nominated Joanna McSpadden for vice chair; the nomination was seconded and approved. The transcript notes McSpadden was nominated in absentia. Trustees completed the remaining routine business and adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
The elections are internal officer selections for the board; no changes to plan or benefits were made as part of these votes.
