Board of Electrologists approves 2026 virtual meeting calendar; exam-results update deferred

The Board of Electrologists convened Dec. 10, 2025, and approved minutes from the Sept. 24, 2025 meeting and a four-date virtual meeting calendar for 2026.

At 09:31 a.m., the interim chair called the meeting to order, confirmed a quorum and read the date and body name: “Today is 12/10/2025, and this is meeting of the board of electrologists.” The board then moved to approve the minutes from Sept. 24, 2025; a motion and a second were made and the minutes were approved by voice vote.

Under new business the interim chair presented the proposed 2026 meeting dates — Feb. 11, May 6, Oct. 14 and Dec. 16 — noting that the meetings will start at 9:30 a.m. and be virtual. The chair said, “I will make a motion to accept these dates as written,” a motion was seconded and the board approved the calendar by voice vote.

A board member asked for an update on the most recent exam results — specifically how many candidates passed and failed — and said they believed Jan had requested that information previously. The interim chair said that item would normally appear on a meeting agenda and offered to add it for the next meeting. One participant identified in the audio as Judith Bailey said the requested pass/fail information was not available for this meeting.

The interim chair at one point proposed adding the exam-update item to the current meeting but later retracted that request and agreed to include it on the next agenda once the department could provide the data and a presenter.

The meeting was adjourned at 09:37 a.m. Members exchanged holiday greetings before closing.
