The courts requested a multi‑year extension to move to Tyler Technologies’ newer SaaS jury-management platform through 2030. Court staff said Tyler’s product has matured, offers improved reporting and security, reduces juror payment timing and is cost‑effective compared with the expense of replacing integrations if a different vendor were selected. Commissioners acknowledged other vendors exist but agreed Tyler’s maturity and existing integrations made renewal the practical choice.
Deputy corporation counsel and records staff recommended renewal of the Granicus/GovQA FOIA management system, noting multi-year county use, regional uptake and negotiated price concessions. The committee approved the renewal and said technical/security review procedures remain in place for vendor selection.
Finally, the Sheriff’s Office asked to fund licensing and portal management for mobile speed/safety message signs (smart carts) and associated analytics; staff said hardware purchases were already completed and this contract covers cloud management and analytics. Each item was discussed and approved by voice vote.
