Brandon Anderson, assistant director at EFCM, said the North Capitol Building’s square footage rose from an originally anticipated 115,227 sq ft to 178,946 sq ft; staff identified an O&M funding gap of about $796,000 and noted a 0.17 ("17¢") plaza rate increase to address plaza maintenance. The board discussed the need to maintain the building and approved the O&M adjustment.
Atlanta Parker, who identified herself as deputy director, presented fee increases for rehearsal space, a new fee for ‘‘grammar’’ requests to cover staff time on particularly time‑consuming requests, and other operational fee adjustments; the board approved the fee package by voice vote.
