Committee approves hazmat‑response grant application with local match for Vernon County team

The committee discussed the longstanding intergovernmental arrangement; one member noted the county has used the same approach for roughly 35 to 40 years and praised the arrangement. The chair called for the motion to approve applying for the grant and the committee approved it by voice vote.
The county will provide the local match and move the grant application forward to allow continued regional hazmat coverage.
