Wellness committee outlines policy updates; board proclaims National School Lunch Week

The committee also discussed continuing reminders to staff about wellness policy components and exploring incentive programs (for example, past incentive programs such as bingo cards with drawings) to encourage participation.
At the same meeting the board approved a proclamation recognizing Oct. 13–17, 2025, as National School Lunch Week following a motion and second and a voice vote with no opposition noted in the transcript.
