The Sampson County Board of Commissioners approved an on-call contract with Kimley-Horn Engineering Firm for water and building infrastructure services.

Ashley Holland presented the contract and told commissioners both parties had reviewed it and necessary corrections were made. "This contract is for on call services for water and building infrastructure to help share in some of the workload of future projects," Holland said.

A motion to approve the contract was made and seconded, and the board approved the contract by voice vote. Staff said the agreement will help the county manage engineering workload as several projects proceed through procurement and grant-funded work.
