Executive Robinson presented "Resolution 9 6 11 20 25" as a pilot on Altium Healthcare's personal property, explaining it would be a payment in lieu of personal property tax to the county. "This will be a payment of $25,000 to the county in lieu of personal property tax," Robinson said. Robinson told the commission the board requested a two‑year extension so the Industrial Development Board could meet with the company to plan an operating/expediting program and return with a longer plan.
Robinson described the company's local economic footprint in 2024, saying, "they, employed 3 75 people with a total wages paid in 2024 of over, right at $17,000,000 into our, local economy." Mr. Daryl Lambert, the company's operations director, was present and offered to answer questions.
The commission voted by roll call to approve the pilot extension and payment (recorded as 12 yes, 2 absent).
What’s next: The Industrial Development Board will continue discussions with Altium Healthcare over the coming 12–18 months and return to the commission with further details as planned.
