Committee notes outstanding Fair Board lease and potential stadium turf lease

The chair also said he is working with the mayor of Versailles, the superintendent of schools and the youth football association on a possible turf lease for the stadium. He described the turf lease as a future item that will come before the fiscal court once details are developed. No formal motions or votes were taken on either matter during the committee meeting; both items were presented as matters for future work and review.
Committee members did not take action on either item and directed staff and involved parties to continue negotiations and return with finalized lease drafts and any required packet materials.
