A staff member told the Lawrenceburg City Plan Commission on Dec. 3 that Jim Crook had submitted a letter resigning from both the Plan Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals after moving to Indianapolis.
The staff member said of Crook: "Mister Crook had sent me a letter for his resignation from both the plan commission and board of zoning appeals." The staff member added that Crook has 14 years of service to the board and that his resignation will be effective "January 3 or December 31," with the commission planning to select a replacement in January.
No vote or formal acknowledgement beyond the staff report was recorded in the transcript. The board did not discuss replacement candidates during the meeting.
The commission proceeded to regular agenda items after the announcement.
