The City Council adopted Ordinance 24-95 on final reading to add a stop sign at the intersection of 12th and Grant, amending the municipal traffic-control map.
Speaker 2 introduced the final reading of Ordinance 24-95 and said the ordinance amends Chapter 5, Article 10, Section 5-1,001 of the Aldridge Municipal Code to update the City of Aldridge traffic control map. Speaker 2 recorded that "Ben moves and next seconds" before the council conducted a roll-call vote; each member present answered "Yes," and the ordinance was adopted.
The ordinance text included the usual severability clause and a provision designating the time the ordinance takes effect. Council members did not record substantive debate on the floor during the final reading.
The council adopted the ordinance at the meeting and directed that the traffic-control map be updated to reflect the new stop sign at 12th and Grant.
