An unidentified official read seven bids at a bid opening for the Rainbow Drive sidewalk improvements, announcing federal project number TAB-3101507 and planning project number 2023-601-1.

Concrete Solution submitted the lowest bid, $352,424.03. Other bids announced were Pete Patterson ($371,298.00), TV Dozing ($370,408.50), Stockman Construction ($398,439.00), GWH Landscape ($395,280.73), Don Schneiger (excavating) ($406,842.48), and Watson Concrete ($432,570.29).

The official said, "we did have a contractor submit their plan order information after I printed the sheets off and that was what Watson Concrete," noting a late submission of paperwork for Watson Concrete. The official added, "Thank you all for coming in and we will get these evaluated, and we will be in touch."

No award or contract was announced at the session. The official said bids will be evaluated before any decision is made and that respondents will be contacted with the results.
