Exeter Township School Board elects Julia Schafer president, Allison Wilson vice president

At its Dec. 3 organization meeting the Exeter Township School Board elected Julia Schafer as president and Allison Wilson as vice president, authorized bank signatories and approved the 2026 meeting schedule with minor date shifts.
Julia Schafer was elected president of the Exeter Township School District Board of School Directors and Allison Wilson was elected vice president during the board’s annual organization meeting on Dec. 3, 2025.
Temporary president Dr. Anne Herring opened nominations and, after one nomination for each office, the board took voice votes. “The vote is unanimous in favor of Julia Schaeffer, and she has been elected president,” Dr. Herring said after the roll call. Members later voted unanimously to elect Allison Wilson as vice president.
The board also approved the district’s regular meeting calendar for 2026 with three date changes to avoid conflicts: Feb. 17 moves to Feb. 18, Apr. 7 to Apr. 8, and May 19 to May 18. The board directed the secretary to advertise the adjusted schedule in accordance with board policy 006 and the Sunshine Act.
Administrators presented and the board authorized PNC Bank disbursement-account signatories: President Julia Schafer, Vice President Allison Wilson, Board Secretary and Business Administrator Brian Fike, and Treasurer Diane Donahue. The board also authorized current signatures to remain in effect until the district implements electronic signatures; the measures passed by voice vote.
Vice President Wilson presided over the remainder of the organization meeting and adjourned to a five-minute recess before the Committee of the Whole.
