Board of Adjustments approves school expansion for Prescott Seventh-day Adventist School

The Prescott City Board of Adjustments voted 5–0 on Nov. 20, 2025, to approve Conditional Use Permit CUP 25-002, allowing the Prescott Seventh-day Adventist School to add K–8 classrooms on an adjacent parcel that lies outside the mapped floodplain.
Tammy Duey, community planner, told the board the parcel had been combined with the existing school site and that "the new classrooms are being proposed" on the rear portion of the property outside the floodway.
