Parks staff announced two donations during the Nov. 20 meeting and the commission voted to accept both.
Ryan (Speaker 7) said Riverside Disc Golf Club donated $200 for improvements at the Riverside Disc Golf Course. He also announced a $10,000 gift from the Early Risers Kiwanis of West Bend for the Library Recreation Center (LRC) basement; Ryan said this $10,000 represents the final two installments of a total $50,000 donation to the LRC.
"This is a donation for the library recreation center in the basement of the West Bend Memorial Library, and this gift represents the last 2 installments of a total $50,000 donation to the library recreation center," Ryan said. Speaker 3 moved to approve acceptance of the donations and Speaker 1 seconded; the motion carried by voice vote.
The donations will be used for the stated capital or improvement purposes and were formally accepted by the commission at the Nov. 20 meeting.
