Staff said the city’s commitment is limited to right-of-way obligations the city controls and that most underground utility relocations are expected to be paid by the utilities themselves.
City counsel introduced Ordinance 1440-25 as a replacement ordinance to correct previously omitted survey/legal attachments and the council approved vacating a portion of Avenue A (now called C Street) by motion and voice vote.
