Commission approves minutes, grants compliance with conditions and continues multiple hearings to Jan. 12
Summary
At its meeting the Gardner Conservation Commission approved prior meeting minutes, granted compliance for DEP 1600670 at 668 Acadia Road with a June 1 silt-fence condition, and continued hearings for 31 Traverse Street, 847 Green Street and 677 Tiffany Boulevard to Jan. 12, 2026; 170 Mill Street was continued to Jan. 26, 2026.
The Gardner Conservation Commission took several formal actions during the meeting:
- Approved prior meeting minutes (roll-call approvals by commissioners present). - Continued enforcement and hearing matters: sludge landfill items and several property hearings were continued to January dates listed on the record. - Granted a certificate of compliance for DEP 1600670 at 668 Acadia Road contingent on leaving silt fencing on the driveway side until June 1 and on the applicant notifying the commission agent prior to removal. - Continued Notices of Intent for (a) 847 Green Street (McCarty Engineering) and (b) 677 Tiffany Boulevard (Walmart fuel station) to January 12, 2026 so DEP comments, revised stormwater calculations, O&M manuals and larger plan sets can be submitted and reviewed. - Continued 170 Mill Street to January 26, 2026.
All listed continuances and approvals were recorded by roll-call votes during the meeting. Several follow-up tasks were assigned to applicants and staff, including the submission of DEP comments, SWPPPs, O&M manuals and full-size plan drawings prior to the Jan. 12 continuations.
