Cornell Cooperative Extension outlines resiliency steps for Clinton, urges vulnerability assessment and evacuation planning

Tyler said the tool review found a number of strengths in Clinton, including what she described as the town’s bronze Climate Smart Communities certification (presenter noted certification in September 2024), a completed natural resource conservation plan and inventory in 2024, and an existing municipal evacuation plan that currently covers town employees. She said Clinton has also pursued federal and HUD grants to fund local projects.
