Tangipahoa Parish School Board members on Dec. 2 elected Trent Anthony to serve as board president for 2026 and Glenn Westmoreland as vice president.

The board opened nominations and nominated Anthony for president; a motion to close nominations carried and members approved the nomination. "Thank you all very much," Anthony said after being acknowledged.

The board then nominated and confirmed Glenn Westmoreland as vice president through the standard motion-and-vote process.

Members also voted to keep regular 2026 meetings on the first and third Tuesdays at 6 p.m., with some second meetings possibly held at school campuses and specific locations to be announced.
