Pittsboro introduces Aaron Strong as new Development Services Director

At the Nov. 17 meeting of the Town of Pittsboro Planning Board, Aaron Strong introduced himself as the new Development Services Director. "I'm Aaron Strong," he said, then summarized his background in both private and public roles, including work in Durham and on stormwater and flood‑plain issues.
Strong told the board he has worked on land development with an emphasis on stormwater and floodplain management and that he most recently served as a municipal infrastructure manager. He said the development services group will cover planning, engineering and additional services and that a second position is expected to be filled soon.
Board members welcomed Strong and exchanged brief comments before adjourning for the Thanksgiving holiday.
