The Tigard‑Tualatin School District awarded construction management/project manager contracts for bond capital projects following a competitive procurement and evaluation process.
Staff described the selection process: 10 proposals were submitted, nine were scored, five firms were interviewed, and the evaluation committee (district staff, a bond oversight committee member, architects and a former bonds director) selected three top firms. The recommendation brought forward two completed negotiations — Cornerstone Management Group and Winnehaut Group — with the board approving awards tonight and HMK Company negotiations to finish before a future meeting.
Contracts approved tonight have a combined not‑to‑exceed amount of $3,728,298: Winnehaut Group for $1,033,874 and Cornerstone Management Group for $2,694,424. Board members moved and seconded the awards and approved them by voice vote.
Next steps: staff will finalize remaining HMK negotiations and bring the contract to the board when complete; project managers will be assigned to bond project roles and staff will proceed with project commencement tasks.
