The chair of the Strafford County Commission moved the commission into a non-public session Thursday to discuss personnel matters and contract negotiations, and the panel voted unanimously to do so.
A motion to move into non-public session "for purpose of assessing personnel and contract negotiations" was made and seconded, and the chair called for a roll call. Commissioner Feliciano responded "Aye," a participant recorded as Levitt indicated "yes," and the chair said they were "yes." The chair said, "The vote is unanimous," and the commission retired into the closed session.
The vote ended the public portion of the meeting; the commission did not announce any public follow-up or specify when or if actions from the closed session would be returned to the public agenda. The meeting minutes recorded that the commission "retired to non [public] session" for personnel and contract discussions.
