Tahlequah softball players honored; several earn regional awards and college commitments

Coach Chris Reddy introduced team members and highlighted a successful season: a 32-7-1 record, Class 5A state semifinalists, regional and district championships, and a cumulative team GPA of 3.87. Individual honors cited by the coach included multiple selections to all-region and all-state lists: Zoe Griffin (first-team all-region pitcher and named player of the year for the district), Riley Dodson (all-district outfielder and an All-State selection), Alex Kimball (first-team utility/pitcher), Jordan Stark (all-district third baseman), and other all-district selections across positions.
The coach announced college commitments: Riley Dodson signed to continue her softball career at a college in Florida (described in the minutes as a signing to a Florida college) and Zoe Griffin committed to Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. The coach framed the season as a strong foundation for returning players and noted the program’s ninth consecutive state-tournament appearance.
Trustees applauded the team's achievements and the board moved on to regular business.
