The board approved the sole-source designation by voice vote. Staff noted the company has regional locations and that the county expects on-time delivery for the bridge span work.
The approval allows staff to proceed with procurement from New Way for rebar and forms needed for the bridge project; documentation of the sole-source justification should be filed with procurement records.
