Ordinance 14‑48‑2025 authorizes contracts with Court Community Service to place defendants in community service and the Cleveland Work Crew program for one year with renewal options. Finance Director Michelle Kenny said the city has contracted with the organization for more than a decade and that in the most recent year the provider logged more than 78,000 hours and removed some 24,000 bags of litter.
Council members from multiple wards thanked the provider and committee members noted the program’s value to seniors, property owners and constituent services. With no substantive objections, the committee approved the ordinance.
