York County Council approved a special source credit agreement Dec. 15 for Tread Athletics LLC and Demon Development LLC, a project council and presenters referred to as Project Dinger.

Philip Land and Colin McAlpine, representing the project, described plans for a sports training facility and said the project has generated considerable community interest. McAlpine said the group has been recruiting internationally and called the prospect of locating in York County "a unique add to the community."
