Pulaski’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Nov. 25 approved the purchase of a parcel on East Flower Street for $20,000 to provide parking adjacent to the city’s dog park.
City staff described a prior confusion over the purchase price but said the motion was to approve the $20,000 purchase with the buyer (mister Newton referenced) removing an on-site mobile home. “This is for the dog park,” a board member noted during discussion; staff said the lot adjoins the dog park behind City Hall and would be used for parking.
The motion was moved, seconded and approved by roll call. Staff and the board said the purchase will support access and parking for the park and that further steps will follow to implement the transfer and removal of the mobile home.
Next steps: execute the purchase agreement and coordinate mobile-home removal and site preparation under Parks/Public Works oversight.
