Council approves several first‑reading rezonings, moves withdrawals

The cases included requests to rezone rural properties for small subdivision lots, to add a small commercial sliver into a shopping center and to convert legacy UD lots to residential zoning.
Two items listed on the agenda (items 5 and 6) were withdrawn and the council acknowledged those withdrawals. Council voted by voice in favor of the first‑reading rezoning motions as presented.
