Apex Planning Board adopts 2026 meeting calendar; other procedural items approved

At the Nov. 10 meeting the Apex Planning Board approved its 2026 meeting calendar, which keeps regular meetings on the second Monday of each month and schedules a joint January 22 work session with the town council to discuss data centers. Deputy Town Clerk Ashley Gentry said agendas will be posted online and meetings will be in person with livestream available on the town’s YouTube channel.
The board also approved the consent agenda (minutes from Oct. 13) and accepted staff’s request to continue a UDO amendment to the Dec. 8 meeting so staff can complete edits. The meeting ended with a standard adjournment motion.
