Board reappoints Dr. Michelle Miller as superintendent and names Dr. Kristen Deichler assistant superintendent

Those included hiring Terry Genssel as a bus driver; hiring Maria Lyden as a permanent substitute special-education teacher beginning about Dec. 4 through June 5; an EPR appointment for Christina Chesno as elementary special-education team lead effective Dec. 11 through the end of the year; approval of Claire Kucarovy as a long-term third-grade substitute from Dec. 17 through May 7; a leave of absence request for Tommy Jo Tracy for the remainder of the school year; and various coach appointments for the 2026 season.
Board President read a statement expressing "sincere enthusiasm and gratitude" for the reappointments. Dr. Miller responded, "Those words are so kind, and it is truly a privilege to continue to lead this school district," and said District leadership and community support made the work possible.
