Indian Trail council swears in two new members, confirms mayor pro tem and approves consent agenda

Councilor McIntyre nominated Clarence Ossabrooks as mayor pro tem; the council approved the nomination by unanimous voice vote. The council also nominated and unanimously approved delegates and alternates to regional bodies, including representation to the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO).
Earlier in the meeting the council approved the consent agenda by unanimous voice vote. Near the meeting’s end, the council moved into a closed session citing N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143-318.11(a)(6) for personnel matters; after returning to open session the council scheduled a special meeting for Thursday, Dec. 18 at 5:30 p.m. and then adjourned.
