Mayor Sherry Alcopello informed council she has named Ed Lynch to the City of Lebanon Authority to fill the unexpired term of George Christiansen, effective November 2025. The mayor said the appointment runs through Jan. 1, 2028.
Alcopello described Lynch as a certified professional insurance agent and the director of marketing for RLD Associates. She also noted Lynch volunteers as a coach at Lebanon Valley College and for the Lebanon School District and has served for 20 years on the city’s zoning hearing board.
The announcement was transmitted by the chair and no formal council vote or confirmation was recorded during the work session.
