The Harnett County Board of Commissioners approved a range of routine and administrative items at its Dec. 15 meeting, according to the county recap provided by Desiree Patrick.
The consent agenda included minutes for Dec. 1 and Dec. 9, 2025, and both were approved. The board reviewed reappointments to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council and made two appointments. Commissioners also reviewed the boards and committees on which they serve.
During the county manager’s report the board approved budget amendments and approved tax rebates, refunds and releases. The board approved a motion authorizing the chairman to sign contract amendments that exceed the county manager’s signature threshold; the recap does not list the manager’s signature limit or which contracts this will affect.
Desiree Patrick closed the recap noting there was no new business or closed session, and that the next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The recap does not provide financial detail on the budget amendments or the identities of individuals appointed to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council; those specifics were not specified in the meeting summary.
