Chilton County presents multiple hiring requests, budget amendments and an IT cloud-hosting proposal

County officials brought several administrative items to the commission for consideration, including personnel additions, budget cleanups and an information-technology hosting request.

Revenue Commissioner Miss Sylvia said the county received a letter requesting the chairman sign a letter of understanding with ICOM LLC to begin cloud-hosting archived records currently hosted by Delta Computer Systems. She provided cost information to the commission, stating a setup fee and monthly charge and reporting a first-year total as presented in the packet: "Be a total of thousand set up and 400 a month for the first year be $5,800," she said.
