County officials brought several administrative items to the commission for consideration, including personnel additions, budget cleanups and an information-technology hosting request.
Revenue Commissioner Miss Sylvia said the county received a letter requesting the chairman sign a letter of understanding with ICOM LLC to begin cloud-hosting archived records currently hosted by Delta Computer Systems. She provided cost information to the commission, stating a setup fee and monthly charge and reporting a first-year total as presented in the packet: "Be a total of thousand set up and 400 a month for the first year be $5,800," she said. (The transcript text is imprecise on the math; the clerk reported these figures as stated.)
Miss Sylvia also requested a budget amendment to correct an RPS agreement entry that had been divided by 24 instead of 12 and asked the commission to add an unbudgeted hangar payment (to be paid month to month until the move to the new courthouse). She said the county received unaudited fiscal year 2025 financials and, by state law, must publish them in the newspaper by Dec. 31 and asked the chairman to sign the publication.
A commissioner asked that a Board of Education request for space and supplies (a request for 15 positions/units) be removed from the consent agenda and moved to the regular agenda under the commission office; the chair stated "No objection" and the item will be moved. The transcript records the requests and the chair's acknowledgment but does not show formal roll-call votes on these specific administrative approvals.
