Members approved several Head Start-related actions, a memorandum agreement for distribution of litigation settlement funds, one-time supplemental nutrition funds for Head Start families and the disposition of unused ballots from the May 2025 budget vote. The board also amended membership of district audit committees.
The board approved acceptance of state aid to purchase a new generator, with members commenting on the district’s need for the equipment. "We need that," a board member said during the discussion.
All motions described above were moved, seconded when stated on the record, and carried by affirmative voice votes. The board then proceeded to non-public business and executive session later in the meeting; the chair stated no actions would be taken during the closed session.
