The Glenview CCSD 34 Board of Education approved the district’s 2025 final tax levy and a package of financial and policy resolutions at its regular meeting following a public hearing on the levy.
Jessica Pritzker moved to approve the 2025 final tax levy; Julie Moon seconded. Board members who announced their names for the record and voted in favor included Vasilio Supos, Eva Gillio, Scott Nelson, Alex Kamalovich, Julie Moon and Jessica Pritzker; Dr. James Dolan was noted as not present. The chair declared the motion carried.
The board also approved Resolution 25090, authorizing the district’s attorneys to intervene on the district’s behalf for any property-assessment appeals filed with the board of review that exceed $100,000. Administration said the district shares appeal costs on large properties with neighboring districts in some cases.
Board members adopted Resolution 25091 to establish the fiscal year and authorize the superintendent or designee to develop the 2026 budget.
The board reviewed a workers’ compensation renewal and voted to approve the recommended coverage (Resolution 25092). Administration presented packet figures indicating a quoted premium in the range presented to trustees and described the change as roughly a 3.1% increase from the prior year; staff noted potential rebates that could reduce the net cost.
The consent agenda — which included Personnel Report 25083, payroll warrants (25084), vendor warrants (25085), the 2026–27 calendar recommendation (25086), student transportation and building use fees (25087), and superintendent salary (25088) — was approved by roll call.
All motions recorded at the meeting were approved by the roll-call votes of the members present unless otherwise noted. No recorded dissenting votes were taken on the items listed above.
