Commissioners sought clarification that the additional acreage is primarily for roads and stormwater infrastructure rather than additional housing; staff confirmed the added 11.56 acres will not add homes on that acreage but will allow a different layout that could improve circulation between the two developer parcels. Staff noted the entire site lies within the Lake Norman Catawba WS‑4 critical watershed subject to a 50% maximum impervious area restriction.
