By voice and roll-call votes the board approved several legal appointments: the law firm of Rafael Rubio as district solicitor (annual retainer $2,000; hourly $225; legal assistance time $100), Serene Law Group LLC as special education solicitor (hourly $210 and $105 for assistance) and a limited-scope engagement of John F.X. Reilly as special counsel for tax assessment matters at a cost not to exceed $3,000. The board also named WSFS Bank as the district depository for the coming year.
