At the Dec. 15 meeting staff announced the winners of the Appearance Commission’s Christmas decorating contest. First place in the residential category went to the property at 307 East Pelham Street; staff named Selma Jore as the winner.

Commissioners thanked staff for organizing judging and photography under difficult weather conditions. The commission recorded that no closed session was needed and adjourned after a motion by Miss Smith and a second by Miss Gaskell. Members exchanged holiday greetings before the meeting ended.
